Hey HAWTies Hey,

Having the basics in your closet can truly help out your wardrobe. Weather you think you are a stylish HAWTie or not. These items will most definitely assist in those looks you want to create & WERK! Lets go over Five Basics & why they are essential to your closet!

#1 Fitted Blazer
You can never ever go wrong with this classic staple in your wardrobe. It gives you instant structure/ shape. From the office to the night life this item can pretty much transform anything!

Try starting with a Black blazer & adding tons of cute brooches to one shoulder of the blazer or to the breast pocket area for a different look! You can always take them off.

#2 White Button Down Shirt
This classic staple can be paired with a pair of slacks & pumps or cut offs & boots. You can wear it with any bottoms without having to worry about it matching. You really can’t go wrong with this as a top of the day

To switch up your white shirt swag, try getting studs glue them on the collar Or try wearing those new choker necklaces that tuck well & looks cute under your collar ( the ladies of MH have them on today peep the pictures)

#3 LBD

Now I am a firm believer in this basic item. A solid black fitted dress has never hurt anyone & the fact that you can dress it up or down is a key benefit to achieving the day night look! But this is a MUST in your closet

To play around with different styles for your LBD, try adding a jean jacket to the look. Or maybe even a fur Shaw (fake please). If you can add a belt & a pair of flats for a simple look. You have tons of options.

#4 Slacks

Every woman needs a GREAT pair of slacks not just any but ones that make you feel GOOD, tall & regal! Slacks show you are about BUSINESS!! You don’t have to be conducting any but who needs to know that, they just need to see how AWESOME you look in them

You should select a good fit so get ready to try on a few pairs of pants HAWTies. You also want to snatch up a khaki pair & a black pair, these simple colors will compliment just about anything you match up with it.

#5 Heels…………………….Flats

Ahhhhhhh one of my most FAV things HEELS, PUMPS, WEDGES, we can go on…. I’m sure that I am not the only lover of heels but HAWTies we also have some that despise them. Same goes for Flats, I know that I am not a big fan….only because I cannot Strut in them!!! But both are a must have in any Woman’s closet.

You want to make sure that both pairs are as equally comfortable. While you are trying on your heels, if you get the narrow toed ones you want to try a half-size bigger than what you normally wear. You also want to walk around for a few minutes in the store so you can get a feel of them. For Flats I would suggest that you also walk the store & make sure your arches are supported & the shoe isn’t bendable. If you can bend them they are no good for long-term daily wear.
